MONTHLY LUNCHEON February Luncheon Program Allan West
Traditional Japanese Painter
His work has been shown around the world in over 20 museums and
40 galleries including the Smithsonian National Museum of
American Art in
H His art has been commissioned as a backdrop for Noh and Kabuki plays as well as for the music of National Living Treasures at the National Theatre.

Recently
he designed the tenugui, a rectangular cotton cloth, used
onstage this past October by the well known Kabuki actor
Tamasaburo. He is
currently under commission to paint the fusuma, the sliding
paper doors, of the
